STRING QUARTET SMACKDOWN

This NCAA-inspired tournament competition brings original string quartet compositions head-to-head in front of a live audience.

A panel of judges - including composer/musicians Maja S.K. Ratkje of Norway, Erdem Helvacioglu of New York City, and Eun Lee with the nonprofit The Dream Unfinished - selected the sixteen finalist compositions to be performed live at the "String Quartet Smackdown" at Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar. Invoke will perform the compositions in four bracketed rounds.
